The overgranulating tissue can be soft and oedematous with a shiny appearance. The fastest route to treatment (steroids or silver nitrate) may be aggressive and should be used sparingly (if at all).

WebDescription. Inadine, consists of a knitted viscose fabric impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base containing 10% povidone-iodine, equivalent to 1.0% available iodine. In the presence of wound fluid, the povidone-iodine, a potent antimicrobial agent with a broad spectrum of activity, is readily released from the PEG base. Web1. If necessary, INADINE™ Dressing can be cut using clean scissors or folded to fit the wound bed. 2. It is best to cut INADINE™ Dressing whilst one or two backing papers are in place.
