WebThe OP is using a Vivoactive 3 which only has “pool swim” activity. Pool swim will not work for open water as it does not use GPS and requires a pool length to be set. I have used a Fenix 6 pro (not S) for ocean swimming (Front crawl) and it worked well for me.
