WebMar 29, 2024 · Pytest use a single file for fixture discovery, the conftest.py file. You should then store the fixtures declaration in a conftest.py file (and not in a conf.py as you declared). This file should be stored at the test root folder. Thereby as your function test_cycle starts with test_ it is also going to run that as an individual test. In the individual test it tries to find the fixture dag, which isn't present. Therefore the solution is: Rename the function to cycle_dag and that should fix it :) Share. Improve this answer.

WebI can not give you the actual root cause but the problem seems to be that the function parameter which gets passed to the test function is expected to be a fixture. So if you are using data it is working as your are using a fixture. If you are using case there is no fixture found for case. I solved this by doing the following:

It turns out that I had to add __test__ = True to my tests classes. FYI: All of my tests are inherited from TestBase (unittest.TestCase) class which has attribute __test__ = False.
